So another week and another Trail Tuesday, back up at Beacon Fell having a laugh and a top quality riding session. This is not a part 2 of last weeks Trail Tuesday Post, we just so happened to go back to the same place.

I’d had the day off work so ended up arriving first, to kill some time I took some pictures looking out over Preston and Blackpool, as well as some pictures in the car park of my car and bike. After about 20/30minutes Rob and Bran turned up with Andy, Dale and Lewis only 5minutes after them. Everyone got their bikes and gear ready and we set off up to our first spot.

Our first spot was the same as last weeks, the 3 corners. It had been raining in the days prior to us going so the ground was a bit slippery but I always think that makes it more fun. Everyone session’d the corners for about half an hour before we extended the trail over the fire road and down the next section of woodland. Myself and Rob had a couple of races down the full line which left us howling with laughter. We session’d the full trail for about 30/40minutes before we moved on.

From our first spot we pedalled up and over to behind the visitors centre to a ledge. Now A ledge may not sound heaps of fun but with the crew we had it was tonnes of fun! We found a couple of lines down to the ledge, mixing it up and challenging ourselves. Everyone killed it on the ledge and really pushed themselves, even Lewis who has only been riding with us twice before and was on a new bike he hadn’t been out on before.

As the sun was setting the season died down and ended with Rob and Bran having a log jump competition. Obviously no one else could get anywhere close to their distance so just sat by and watched as they soared through the air before locking the brakes on as to not hit anything in the car park.

As everyone was getting ready to head back to the cars I noticed the sky looked like someone had pained the cloud on. The only way to capture the scene properly I had to silhouette the trees but I love how the image came out. Shortly after we all packed up our gear and headed back to the cars via the road, packed up our cars and parted ways after another incredible session full of fun and laughter!
